Taq DNA Polymerase (Brazilian origin) is a thermostable DNA polymerase supplied for routine PCR applications. The enzyme synthesizes DNA from single-stranded templates in the presence of dNTPs and a primer and is supplied as a 500-reaction (500 units) format. It is intended for amplification of DNA fragments up to ~5 kb, RT-PCR and cycle sequencing, and is provided with recommended buffers and magnesium for standardized PCR workflows.
